Gates Management’s Pet Policy

At Gates Management, we know you love your pets and will try to accommodate that when we can. To that end, we use a standardized review process for all households with animals. Please note: NOT ALL PROPERTIES ARE PET FRIENDLY.

Please be aware that the following dogs are currently not accepted at any of our properties:

• Akita

• Pit Bulls (American Staffordshire Terrier) / American Bully / Pit Mixes

• Rottweiler

• Chow

• Doberman Pinscher

• Presa Canario

• Shar-pei

• Wolf Hybrid or Wolf dogs of any kind

• Cane Corso

• Dogs with a prior incident of biting another person or animal

Our Screening Process

1. You, the applicant, complete a Pet Profile at https://gatesmanagement.petscreening.com

2. If you do not have a pet, complete a “No Pet Affidavit.”

3. If you have a service/assistance animal, complete an “Assistance Animal” screening.

4. Your pet will be evaluated by the petscreening algorithm and given a rating which we use to determine if the pet will be allowed.

Factors that affect your pet’s score:

• Breed

• Size

• Vaccinated or not?

• Spayed/neutered or intact?

5. You will be notified what your one time Pet Fee and monthly Pet Rent will be, based on your pet screening score: low scoring pets will require a $150, one time pet fee and $60 monthly pet rent; higher scoring pets will require a $75 one time pet fee and $30 monthly pet rent.
